Education
Ms. Nuñez received a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida, Gainesville, in 1988. She received a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Stetson University, St. Petersburg, in 1990, where she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity (Chapter Justice 1989-90). She is listed in Who’s Who Among American Law Students.

Ms. Nuñez has been admitted to practice by The Florida Bar, the United States District Court (Middle District of Florida), the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals (Eleventh Circuit) and the United States Court of Federal Claims. She wrote “A Look at Workers’ Compensation Immunity,” published in Pinellas County Review, March 2, 1991; co-authored “Bypassing the Secondary Heart Attack,” published in News and Four-Forty Report, Summer 1991; and “The Recently Hired Employee’s Heart Attack,” published in Hillsborough County Bar Association “Lawyer” Magazine June/July 1991.
Ms. Nuñez is a member of The Florida Bar (Member, Workers’ Compensation Section and Practice Management Section), Hillsborough County Bar Association (Workers’ Compensation Section and Social Security Section Committee Member), American Bar Association and Hillsborough Association fo Women Lawyers (HAWLS). She was a panel member for the Florida Regional Worker’s Compensation Professionalism Workshop, 1999.
